Melton’s too is a Café-Bar Bistro, set in a three-floor 17th building. As well as serving quite traditional local cuisine such as Yorkshire rump steak, cheeseburgers and Yorkshire steak and kidney pie, it also offers a wide choice of tapas dishes. Melton’s too also caters for events such as weddings, parties, meeting and receptions with the function room’s capacity to seat 40 and up to 60 for receptions.

Great relaxed and friendly atmosphere with good food deals 
Meltons Too is a Bistro/Tapas restaurant with a relaxed studenty atmosphere. The simple décor and furniture, with exposed brick walls and overhead air shafts gives it a trendy modern feel, and the service is friendly and polite. The food, although, nothing spectacular or terribly innovative in its combinations does not disappoint and leaves you feeling it is worth the slightly higher price tag than your bog-standard student haunt. Having said that, Metlons Too offers good value deals making the food affordable enough even for a student budget: Two Course Early Dinner Menu, which is available between 5 to 7pm daily, allows you to pick a starter and main course for the bargain price of £11 (table must be vacated by 8pm); or my personal favourite the Tapas Deal which entails that if you buy a bottle of wine of sherry between 5pm to 7pm any tapas dish is £2.75. This is an amazing deal seeing as most of the dishes are around £4.The Tapas menu offers a great deal of choice and the dishes are a good size and many are quirky combinations offering a good mix of flavours. For larger parties, or better still for a relaxed and fun date atmosphere, this deal is a must.
