The Yorker brings you a video of the highlights of Woodstock 2010.
The Yorker follows the musical 'Return to the Forbidden Planet' through its progress this term.
The first YUSU organised awards ceremony recognised students for their invaluable contribution to student life last night.

Younger said: "This year I am looking to transform Langwith and Derwent into a trippy, sexy WonDerland - every room and outdoor space has a different theme and we have injected bucketfuls of creativity into the theming and decorations to ensure that people literally feel like they have stepped into another world."
She further explained that "each room will be themed differently and decorated to the max so people will literally feel like they have stepped into Wonderland".
The actors that were used in the promotional video, viewable below, will be present at the event providing further entertainment. Students can also look forward to shisha with the caterpillar and be involved in the Mad Hatter's tea-party.
What is different about this year's event is that Big D has "expanded to offer a sister event: Little D, which will take place during the day," explains Younger. This event will portray the more innocent side of the Wonderland, with croquet on the lawn, a tea-party tent, traditional fête-style stalls.
There will also be society performances from Dance Soc and York Cheerleading, a barber shop quartet and more. On top of that there is Colourscape, a contemporary interactive art work.
As for the main event itself, this year's lineup will feature Simian Mobile Disco, Scratch Perverts and Utah Saints, as well as several campus bands and DJs such as Magnapow, Idioteque, Breakz and DJ Barnaby. There will also be "the classic Derwent cheese".
Big D's proceeds will go towards their national charity as voted by Derwentites, the Teenage Cancer Trust, which provides specialist wards and support for young sufferers of the disease.
The local charity that they will be supporting is the York and District Mind, which Younger says "is a local branch of the national mental health charity which does loads of good work in the areas, working to reduce stigma integrate the mentally ill back into the community, providing services such as craft workshops and volunteer buddy-schemes".
They will also be supporting RAG and Student Action, as well as the Ron Weir Memorial.
When asked about the upcoming event, Derwent Chair Joe Rankin said: "Anna has done an absolutely amazing job so far, and so has the Big D committee! The ideas Anna and her team have had are so exciting, but the way they're actually making them a reality is what's really going to be impressive."
Rankin added: "I can't wait for WonDerland! It's going to be such a great end of year party, and all for good causes too. I'm going to glued to my computer at midday on Wednesday. Bring on Simian, Utah Saints and Scratch, and bring on the Wonderland!"
Tickets will be on sale today from 12pm onwards.

SMD and Scratch Perverts are pretty big in the dance/hip-hop world. Scratch Perverts don't do much of their own stuff but DJ (and importantly, scratch) hip-hop but play music from all over the map and have branched out into dubstep recently (as evidenced by their recent set at Fibbers).

To be fair the acts maybe aren't the most fantastic or the biggest names BUT, considering the limitations of Campus (no gig venue...) they're not too shabby.
The theme looks good, and the events during the day and in the evening look super! I'm looking forward to it (and to the Summer Ball the night before!).
Hope it's worth the 45 minutes I spent buying my ticket due to the payment website continually crashing!
for the fact that the acts are absolutely amazing, and that it's now an all day event, kudos.
I'm loving the all-day event idea... I'm looking forward to see how well they pull it off!
Didn't get a ticket... but I'm certain that there are people who love these guys more than me anyway so it's probably a good thing!
