This Sunday at City Screen, some of the most talented individuals on campus will be showing a variety of student written, produced and directed films for your enjoyment.

Showcasing various genres - from arthouse to music videos, from thriller to comedy – this event is set to be a delight for all film lovers across campus.

The Yorker spoke to Corrine Millson-Crane, a prolific member of The Film-Making Society, about what was in store for those attending.

She said: “This is so exciting for everybody involved. People work so hard on these films and it’s purely driven by the pleasure of seeing the final product. It’s good to celebrate this and most importantly get feedback about what’s good and what needs improving. I can’t wait; it’s going to be a fantastic event.”

There will be a wrap party in Pitcher and Piano afterwards for anybody who wishes to celebrate the fantastic achievements of everyone involved. There will also be an awards ceremony at this event to acknowledge those who have made an outstanding contribution.

Films to be shown:

Bella Isola – by Alice Cox

The Psychiatrist – by Sian Evans

Threshold (music video) – music by James Duckworth. Directed by Kate Shenton

The Played – by James Lamont

Modern Grim – by Kate Shenton

Stealing Food (music video) – by Jay Foreman

Scarlett Obsession – by Geoff Gedroyc

Why I Don't Like Cellars, 2012 and The Madman and the Nun – by Will Tribble

The Woman – by Daniel Ward

The event details: Sunday 15th June, 11-1. Tickets are £4 from Your: Shop.
