Following student feedback, YUSU have mixed up the student club nights, introducing a student run night on Fridays and new band nights on Thursdays.
Revolution will continue to host York’s longest running student night on Sunday. Tuesdays will continue to be hosted by Entourage at Kuda. Wednesday night will also continue as normal as the Sports Societies Night at Club Salvation.
Thursdays will be held as usual at Fibbers (formerly known as Tokyo) with new band nights held from 9pm – 11pm on selected dates. Following this will be ‘Throwback Thursdays’, including a new Indie Disco in the Bier Keller.
Fridays will become ‘Student Run Club Nights’, ran by students and endorsed by YUSU. Over the summer students will be given the opportunity to propose club nights in venues of their choice. YUSU will promote and support these student nights. The returning platinum card, which was popular last year, will be available again from August.
