Halloween Creative Writing Competition 2016

The Yorker is proud to announce that our Halloween Creative Writing Competition is open to all students at the University of York, whether members or non-members of our publication.  Participants are asked to submit a poem or short story between 400 and 2000 words to creativity@theyorker.co.uk .

The theme is anything associated with Halloween, whether ghoulish horror or ghostly romance.  The first place winner shall be awarded free membership at The Yorker if they have not already paid.  All four winning pieces shall be published onto our website.

The deadline for all submissions is the 28th of October 2016.
